Erica L. Kaufman, Psy.D.
Executive Coach | Business Leader | Leadership Strategist
Erica brings something rare to this work: the strategic perspective of a seasoned business executive and the depth of a doctoral-level psychologist. With over 20 years of experience across commercial enterprises and Federal Government contracting, she has spent her career helping organizations deliver on the promise of strategy through people.
She has designed and implemented leadership development programs that build high-potential talent, drive performance, and ensure organizations have the leadership capacity for today and what’s next. In 2022, she founded ELK, a certified Woman-Owned Small Business, to bring that experience directly to leaders and organizations navigating complexity, growth, and change.
Her professional foundation was built across some of the most demanding environments. Multi-industry consulting with Right Management sharpened her ability to frame opportunities and co-create solutions that produce lasting results. Internal roles in talent management, organization development, and HR business partnership at organizations like Exelon and Day & Zimmermann gave her a firsthand understanding of what it takes to align people strategy with business performance from the inside.
Erica has partnered with executives across a wide range of industries and organizational contexts, from Fortune 500 companies and family-owned businesses to entrepreneurial ventures. She has a particularly strong track record working with growth leaders in healthcare, manufacturing, and staffing. That breadth of experience means she understands the nuances of high-stakes, mission-critical environments and knows how to deliver results within them.
Industry Experience
Erica's perspective on leadership is shaped as much by who she is outside of work as by what she has built professionally. A mother of four in a blended family, a Board Advisor, and a dedicated community volunteer, she brings a whole-person lens to everything she does. She believes that leaders perform at their best when they are fulfilled and balanced across all dimensions of life. She also enjoys traveling and cooking, two things that have broadened her perspective and nurture her creativity.
